I think most people don’t realize that their therapist should not agree with them about all of their actions all of the time. And if they are, you probably aren’t seeing a good therapist that’s actually trying to help you and is instead just affirming your terrible nature so that you keep coming back.

I went to school to be a therapist, and I can tell you firsthand that a lot of female therapist went through something that pushed them to become therapist to help women. A lot of those women are biased to men. I myself went to couples therapy for something wrong my wife did. Again I didn’t do anything. The female therapist told us we need an individual therapy. Again, we were only there for an issue that I never did, She was having issues. not all therapists are good and some only operate by sharing blame regardless of if you did anything or not.
