Dear FIFA,
I am writing because I was disappointed by the Haiti vs. Scotland match. As a supporter of Haiti, I felt that my country was not given the same respect and opportunities as other teams.
Haiti is not a poor or weak country. Haiti has talented players, passionate fans, and people who are proud of their nation. We deserve the same fair treatment that every other country receives.
Many Haitian fans feel that Haiti is often overlooked and underestimated. We worked hard to reach this stage, and we want our team to be judged by its performance, not by stereotypes or assumptions.
I was also upset by some of the decisions made during the match. As a fan, some of the calls felt unfair, and at times it seemed as if Haiti was being treated differently from the other team. Because of what I saw, I felt frustrated and questioned whether Haiti was receiving equal treatment on the field.
I was also concerned by some of the physical challenges during the game, including an incident where a player appeared to be kicked in the legs. I felt that player safety should have been taken more seriously.
Football is a competitive sport, but fairness and player safety should always come first. I hope FIFA reviews these concerns and continues to ensure that every team is treated equally and with respect.
Please give Haiti the same chance, respect, and fairness that you give to every other nation. We may be a small country, but our dreams are just as big as anyone else’s.
Thank you for listening to the voice of a Haitian supporter.
Sincerely,
A Proud Haitian Fan 🇭🇹
