I prayed everyday for months and ran into him at a supermarket after being on no contact for 9 months. We spoke on text the next day and felt as if it was best to leave the past where it is. Do we still miss each other? Yes. Will we ever get back together? For now no, and in the future we don’t know. I genuinely felt like I was looking at a stranger though, it’ll never be the same again.

No contact is the reason most escape and come out the other side stronger, healthier and able to grow. Hurting isn’t bad, feeling isn’t bad, missing someone you once loved isn’t bad. It’s all apart of the journey. Let yourself feel and grow with it. It’s okay that they stay only in that chapter and not take up anymore pages
