I bought OE rotors and pads online from a Lexus dealer in Arizona shipped to Iowa, front and rear total cost $513 did myself in garage on my lift in about 2 hours, my local Lexus quoted me $840 something just for parts, Smart Lexus in Davenport Iowa are total scammers, everything is marked up like 30 percent from anyone else, 1 oil filter $17, anywhere else oe filter is $8, $87 for a cabin filter, I pay online $23 for a oe one

I've stopped using any shops and especially dealers over 10 years now and do my own work. Far too many horror stories of shoddy work if it was done at all. The only time a shop sees any of my 5 vehicles is for tires or a State Inspection.
