Do you think he would’ve acted that way if he didn’t have that knife? I think if he didn’t he would’ve gotten up and left. The fact that he did plus when he said touch me and see what happens , to me sounds like he was looking for an excuse to use that knife.

Well there are weight classes in fights for a reason.Karmelo was 135 and you expect him to go head up with 213 pound linebacker. It could be argued Karmelo had a reasonable fear of severe bodily harm. That certainly would have been inflicted if he didn't have the knife.

It’s not a boxing ring. Physical conflicts don’t have to be fair fights when you’re at a track meet or out and about. And would proportionality of force matter if the roles were reversed? You gave Kyle Rittenhouse, Daniel Penny, Rick Chow, George Zimmerman, all people who either unalived someone who wasn’t a threat or used a “disproportionate” amount of force, and more the biggest honors in American society. Who really belongs in jail is John Sheeran. He literally planned in advance to shmurder a Black kid (who thankfully survived) via drowning and only got community service.
