@melaniesandford18: Welcome to day 4 of my castor oil series: castor oil and baking soda. This is a lovely recipe for helping to smooth out rough or crepey skin, as well as helping with smoothing out eight spots or dark spots, rough patches, etc. it also has been known to work for things like warts or skin tags, and can make a good spot treatment as well for breakouts. Here’s what you’ll need: equal parts castor oil to baking soda and form a paste. You can apply the paste to any of the dry patches or rough patches and gently exfoliate. This works great as a hand scrub for the backs of hands (my favorite way to use it) it’s only meant to be on for short term so 10 to 15 minutes and then applying a warm, wet towel on top can help the castor oil. Once the time is up, you gently remove it by using a warm, wet washcloth. I like to follow up with my favorite moisturizer, which is fountain of youth. This is meant to do once in a while and not every day because exfoliating the skin is something you should only do sparingly. If you’re using it for a spot treatment, you could use it a little more regularly, but only leaving it on for a short time and making sure to avoid very sensitive areas. Baking soda can be a bit irritating on its own, so make sure to mix it well and to not leave it for too long of a period of time.
