Dang, can't believe you trapped yourself in a time loop to explain the plot of looper. You just finished explaining yourself for the 213th time and that's only since *I've* been watching!

I love the particular brand of time traveling looper does, some write it off as sort of hadnwavy for the sake of the plot, but I like that it tells us over and over that corrects itself towards a single direction regardless of what happens, which is very much how a self destructive person views life, whatever they do it will end up the same so who cares what you do, I think it was even a line in the movie that Sid is viewed as a force of nature correcting time traveling by forcefully ending all the "loops". Lewis character breaking the cycle for the first time in the movie give us the implication that the future might not be predetermined and things CAN change if you are willing to do what it takes to change it.

Looper is SUCH an underrated movie 😳 this time around I was thinking about how Joe is stock piling his earnings. In some way, it must represent his foresight to save for the future… but his future self ends up blowing it all. Again, it feels like a self destructive cycle where he has good intentions, but ends up sabotaging himself 💰 great breakdown Kaden!!!
