I feel like a huge part of the reason younger Americans have no idea this happened is because schools don’t teach it. If I didn’t actively try to learn about history outside of school, I wouldn’t know what the Iraq war was.

Hey thanks for just educating. A lot of people on here are being really like rude about the fact that people don’t know. The government literally tried to make sure news about it was as quiet as possible. And like you said yourself the photos were stopped from being released. The American government is very good and controling the release of info keeping info propaganda etc etc so I just appreciate you educating without judging because it’s not on accident that a lot of people don’t know
