That good intentions aren’t enough to justify immoral choices. Time and time again we see characters who are trying to improve the lives of others or to reach some lofty goal in terms of justice or fairness, get either corrupted or blinded by their choices. Dooku, Anakin, even much of the Imperial leadership. Even many in the rebellion went too far and lost site of morality. The ends DO NOT always justify the means.
