Thank you for sharing this! Exactly what I need. And I just love that they say the same things we tell ourselves. And yet, God never left them, never abandoned them.. there’s still hope everyone. Let’s hang on until we reach the end, let’s follow him again. But im nothing like them, they were actually able to give their everything to God. I’ve always been stuck in the middle, the way he dislikes the most, not hot not cold. Im tired of myself and still cant do it. I dont think ill ever be able to do or be what and who he says I am. I really think I’ll always be God’s “let down” child, not because he let me down, but because i never get to make him proud in anyway, i just exist.

Thank you so much for this post. I have been struggling with depression and loneliness so heavily lately. This is so encouraging and I’ve saved it. I’m gonna go study these instances, and use these are sources of encouragement. I sometimes forget that the bible has stories that have people with struggles just like me. So thankful for a God who understands and loves me.

Hardship and Darkness seemed pointless and I didn’t understand why I went through them for a long time. However just the other day I saw this quote “I asked God why he led me through so much darkness, he answered, it’s so you know the way out when I send you in for someone else.”
