I am crying. I just told myself today that I have gone backwards. I don’t know who I am. I have lost skills bc I am being treated like a child. Controlled, manipulated, corp favoritism, all of it. I question my self worth and feel like I am doing a bad job. I work so hard and it never gets recognized. I wish I could just quit or find something outside of corporate. I’m tired of all the games. The only ones who get promoted are the ones on the inside who kiss up. Thats just not me. Thank you for your post. I don’t believe this came across by accident. God bless you ma’am.

You have no idea how badly I needed to hear this today. I’m quitting effective immediately tomorrow. I was passed up for a position I’ve been doing and advocated to become full time for the past year and a half. They gave it to a recent hire and made it full time salaried VP position. I wasn’t failing the job, the business set me up to fail and then publicly humiliated me with the announcement, with zero acknowledgement or clarity on the organizational change. Made it look like I was incompetent and that’s why the change occurred.
