Besides baseless rumours. ---------------------------------------- My take is that Mythos was never more than the name actually implies, a myth. Fable is probably the actual capability, dressed as the safe-guarded underachieving version, to cover for all the unreasonable claims they previously made. All I've actually seen so far is corporate smoke and mirrors. Their alleged "miracles" rely solely on internal, closed-door tests that nobody outside Anthropic could verify. The "too dangerous for public use" narrative is most likely a marketing stunt, which is either aided by the US gov. to further mask the reality, or it simply backfired. -------------------------------------- In actuality, independent testing showed middling performance, proving the hype was unverified illusion.

Agent loop around a model often moves the score as much as the substrate does. But Fable is much better at exploiting scaffolding than Opus, which is improved capability in the weights, and not just a harness trick. So doubt the 90% metric is much more than vibes and wishful thinking.

this is exactly what I had realized when building my platform I realized that most of Claude was just clever instructions. I've done that with my platform and then some. my platform has a self-improvement protocol better than Hermes and also has a memory protocol better than just a knowledge graph works more like our own associative memory you combine that all together with a few more things and some secret sauce you get my platform. it's almost done. not quite but it's very close. originally I built it for me and realized this could be for everybody
