If you don't have the feeling that you are worth it right now, then think about little you. What was he or she like? Would he or she want you to be like this right now? Do small things you love, dance in the rain, enjoy the sun, play with your pets, look at the beautiful leaves in the fall, put on a nice outfit, laugh at that joke, smile at strangers on the street. Leave those behind who have hurt you. Trust me, it’s really not worth it. Yes you’ll be sad, but at some point you'll be very relieved and feel free again and maybe feel like yourself for once. YOU will find your way through the dark. Some people might guide you and help you. They'll be a flashlight and help you escape the dark, but you are still the one that needs to do the walking. Look forward, not backwards. What happened, happened. You can't change the past, but you can change your future. And remember, the dark can come back, and you can feel bad again. That is okay!! Sit with your feelings for a while, you’re allowed to feel them. But do NOT let it drain you, do not allow it to take your life. Let yourself think it through and come with the best intentions. Those feelings are not you, they are a small part of your life and they do not determine who you are. It might feel like the darkness is the only thing you can see, but search for the light. The world is never fully dark. The sun will ALWAYS shine again, so go chase your dreams. Go! Get out there!!! Do it for little you, and don’t let anyone ever stop you, you are so worthy, precious and strong and I am so so proud of you 🩷
