Not postpartum but I got off BC a few years ago and never want back on it. I feel so much better being off of it idk how to explain it. Don’t blame you at all for not wanting it. Idk why so many docs push it?

I was lucky I didn’t need a hysterectomy during my emergency c-section, so my husband has lovingly offered to get a vasectomy lol, my body has done enough 😂

just said no this friday lol she tried saying “well just so you know if you do get pregnant there’s a chance of pre-term labor” still said no and then again tried explains the different types of bc.

birth control was the reason I developed PCOS and didn't have my period for 10 years after stopping it and then needing help just to get pregnant the first time. heck no I'm not going on birth control. there are other ways of preventing pregnancy

With my second I told my OB since birth control f*cked my body up I’m not ever getting back on it due doctor constantly pushing it but didn’t tell me I can’t take it longer than 10months. He said that is perfectly fine now I am pregnant with #3 and still not getting birth control afterwards
