@animalwelfareguy: A wealthy California big-game hunter was trampled to death by a herd of elephants while tracking antelope in central Africa. Ernie Dosio, 75, was killed in Gabon last week while hunting yellow-backed duiker with a professional guide. Dosio, a trophy hunter from Lodi near Sacramento, died on April 17 after inadvertently stumbling upon five female elephants and a calf in the Lope-Okanda national park, according to the Daily Mail. A spokeswoman for Pacific AgriLands, Dosio’s vineyard-management company, which is based in Modesto, California, declined to comment on the death. hunting is a need, its how people survive. trophy hunting is greedy and messed up.

Hunting has it's place in the world, but I hate trophy hunters! 🤬

Mad disrespectful

dimar88 :

Hunting for sport/trophy only is disgusting! Regulated, responsible hunting is necessary for the health and well being of animals, but if you hunt it you need to eat it, or at the very least, donate it to an organization that will process it and make it available to those that need the food.

Timoto :

Don’t fuck with our elefants 🤷‍♂️

♡Peachypup♡ :

Hunt was never my thing from the start, however I understand that's how some people get their necessitys. But trophy hunting will never have a place in my heart. Hey- in the elephants eyes it was just a trophy Hunt :3
