I'm from YouTube Shorts, and I've noticed that YouTube comments are way smarter than TikTok comments now. On YouTube, you'll see people explaining things, sharing their experiences, correcting misinformation, telling stories, and having actual discussions. Even under the most random videos, there's usually someone adding something valuable. On TikTok, it feels like most comments are just the same jokes repeated hundreds of times or people trying to get likes. YouTube comments make me think, laugh, and sometimes even learn something new. TikTok comments make me scroll. That's the difference.
