I do the same thing except I divide mines by 4 because I get paid weekly. I have all my bills except my car note and mortgage on autopay on my credit card and every week I just pay off that credit card with the money in the bills account.

I calculated the average of my monthly bills & it’s automatically deposited into the bills account. Everything on autopay. Makes life so much easier

Yes!! Bill money goes into a “spend account” and I pay myself in a separate account. I fund that spend account faithfully and never have to worry about whether my Amazon cart will tap into bill money. 😅

I do that and budget all the way down to the dollar. I am broke after both paychecks. There’s nothing more that I can do besides make more money. I’m the best when it comes to finances. I just need more money.

I get paid weekly. I split my rent and car payment in 4 and everything else I pay in full for that week. I never can understand how people use one check or everything.

I only do that with my mortgage but I need to do that with all my bills and yess I just realized in July it’ll be 3 payments. I said I’ll get ahead then I was too geeked😩😩

Yup! Been doing this for years. Have that amount deducted from each paycheck and it is direct deposited into a completely separate account so that I never even see it. and all the bills are on auto pay 🤏🏾🤏🏾🤏🏾

I use the same method. Whatever bills are due until I get paid again are paid out of that check along with half of my rent. Then the second check covers the remaining bills and the remainder of my rent
