What kills me is since alcohol is socially acceptable and legal but doing illicit substances isn’t, people are so much more judgmental towards addicts who use illicit substances

Yeah. I was basing 40s and switched to top shelf whiskey. That was the last socially acceptable thing and I really thought I could nail that role 😅

So you were an IV addict? I'm in recovery also but I never shot up mainly because I'm terrified of needles and no one I was around did but I've always heard it's so much harder to quit. Is that true? That would suck because it was so HARD for me that I can't imagine it being worse. Love seeing your recovery and story!! Proud of you❤️

see i disagree with this, especially with the open air drug markets now. ive smelled fent, spice, etc being smoked on the train and had dealers approach me several times "you good??"
