As the sun rose over the mountains, he turned his head toward the villages and spoke: "Respect the land, the rivers, and the wisdom of your elders. If you do, the land will always provide for you." As he finished speaking, his body slowly turned to stone. His head remained visible on the mountain, watching over Sogeri forever. Today, people say the rock that resembles a snake's head is Bubuna, the ancient guardian of the plateau.
