I can’t believe it’s been a year. My dog and I hid in our bathtub while the cops blocked off our neighborhood because I didn’t know what to do. We were terrified because we didn’t know what was happening. I won’t forget the 14th. My pup & I went for 3 walks in our park today.

I knew this day was coming, but in full transparency, I forgot today. However, my finance and I went to a park today to attend a farmers market, we planted more wildflower seed in our yard, and hugged our dogs. And it was safe. Is was good. It was right. Melissa and Mark knew this was the point, and we are forever grateful here in Minneapolis.
