not pulling hart was a big tell of what kind of franchise Vegas is. Hart was very obviously falling apart and the refusal to play any of their other goalies made it clear what the franchise thought of the critiques of Hart being signed in the first place imo

I never forgot when his save% was in the .500s for like. Months. There was never a moment where he’s deserved to be here: not because of his conduct, not because of his actual goaltending. Him sobbing into Eichels arms on TV tonight will forever be priceless. May Hill go find a team that ACTUALLY appreciates him and his abilities, may torts go back to being out of work, and may hart finally never play hockey again.

It was insane that Torts didn't even give Hill a chance. You have a goalie who proven he can won the big game and you leave him on the bench in favor of a guy who is giving up 4+ every night. Vegas got what they deserved. Rod switched off Freddie who had been incredible until the finals and it worked.
