@moonstonefool: My absolute favorite update do far is installing an AC silencer in our living room (bedroom replacement soon hopefully). While it may seem like a hefty investment... its priceless to not be scared awake when the ac turns on, to yell to hear each other, or to have to have the volume of the TV so loud that the neighbors can hear it... but you cant. Oh wow! This is awesome! I went on a road trip from florida to Yellowstone with my gram as a kid and I had a hard time sleeping for a month and a half because of the loud AC.
