rin getting benched is beautiful writing, itll reinforce the abandonment and left out themes he feels, this will be his rock bottom and downfall as he builds himself back up, maybe coming back the 2nd half or coming back for the Spain game

i get it, ego saying that rin is the only one that he don't belive he could be the Best, rin tried to steal the goal because of that, because he belived that if he dint do that goal then he would be behind isagi as a numbers 2. his desperate attemp for the goal wasnt an act of egoísm, it was an act of fear
