do you have a chance for a 3rd option where they induce labour and allow her to be born however she decides and then do comfort cares if required? I know not all hospitals are comfortable with this option

You do what feels right for you. I’m a midwife & the one piece of advice I would give is don’t do what is ‘expected’ of you, do what feels right in your heart. She is still your baby, it is your body, do what is best for you. & grieve however you need to, when you need to. You can still grieve while pregnant, grieve the life she could have had. & make sure no matter what, that you keep all the memories of her, hand & footprint, photos etc xx

I went through fetal medicine with my boy, and I can totally relate to the feeling of wanting them to stop finding more abnormalities. Sometimes it can feel like they’re talking about a statistic rather than the precious child you’re carrying in your womb. For me personally, being able to continue the pregnancy and let the baby decide when it was their time, rather than having to make that decision myself, brought me some peace. It’s such an impossible choice that no mother ever wants to face. She is so loved, and whatever you decide, she knows it comes from a place of love and wanting what is best for her. 💕

certainly do not to give any of us on SM any sort of justification or anything whatever towards YOUR decision. we are all here to support you girl. Whichever way you decide she is still apart of you. she is and will always be loved no matter what. I know she has some co editions but if you decided to terminate the pregnancy get support from bears of hope. They are an amazing bunch of humans there support before during and after is nothing short of AMAZING. supportive friendly the works. sympathetic aswell. they just treat you with utmost gratitude amd respect.
