Without spoiling the second game’s ending, it was very clear that Kratos’ story was over. I thought they were maybe were going to continue the story through Atreus, but this is way better. So the outrage is so manufactured imo.

Playing cinematic games but not wanting to watch the cinematics is crazy to me. Halo wasn't just pew pew, it was the big expanse of the halo, the wide shots of the fields of battle, the drop ships and armies. A game like god of war sounds like that to me but turned up much higher. Why buy a game to just do the fights? How many of these dude bros bought Death Stranding and skipped cutscenes? That game has like days worth of cutscenes!
