I cried when Curacao scored against Germany. Curacoas journey to the world cup was not easy and im proud of them for giving it all on that field today.

girl i'm glad you didn't have to see the 7-1 against brazil in 2014 😭 i'm sure most of curaçao's fans aren't upset over this loss, the brazilian loss however... i'm not an emotional person but even as a german that was a hard watch

Don’t be they have made history. Tiny island making it into World Cup for first time ever, scored against Germany which is not an easy thing to do at all, scored on their opening game. Yes they lost but remember last World Cup winner also lost the first game. It would be nice to see them make it into next rounds

Oh baby this is so sweet but we actually think we did amazing. We all went crazy yesterday when we scored that goal. With a population of 165.000 people we not only feel very, VERY proud that we qualified. But that we at least scored against a 4 (!!!) time World Cup winner that won it’s first World Cup in 1954. Germany has been playing for over more than 50 years! The Dutch press & commentators put us down as losers but you know who else won the World Cup 4 times? Italy. And where where they? Not there because they did not qualify WE DID! We made HISTORY! 🇨🇼🫶🏾💛✨
