On our way to lunch, we suddenly spotted something moving in the water next to our villa. We started running, pointing and trying to figure out what it was… Then this beautiful eagle ray appeared. 😍 One of those unexpected travel moments that reminds you how incredible the Maldives really is. The best part? You don’t even need to book an excursion. Grab some snorkel gear from the resort, walk to the ladder of your overwater villa and jump straight into an underwater world filled with tropical fish, reef sharks, turtles and, if you’re lucky, eagle rays like this one.
