If Light Yagami did not have such a massive God complex, I would agree with him (almost) wholeheartedly. Light in the musical is a lot more digestible and easy to agree with because he’s reasonable. Light from the anime on the other hand, is just straight up unhinged.

Everyone saying „musical light and anime light are not the same” clearly didn’t understand both anime and musical. It was never about how „reasonable” he is. At first it’s normal to agree with Light. The whole series is a big metaphor on why one person, no matter how good they are, cannot hold the entire power and why we have a justice system in place
