Aujourd'hui, j'ai annulé ma précommande de Halo : Campaign Evolved. Et ça me coûte plus que je ne pensais. Halo m'accompagne depuis plus de vingt ans. Ce n'est pas qu'un jeu, c'est une part de mon histoire de joueur. Et dans cette histoire, il y a des voix. Celles qui me parlaient quand j'étais plus jeune, celles que je reconnaissais dès la première réplique. Le Master Chief, Cortana… en français, ces voix-là font partie de moi. Je suis le genre de joueur qui achète le jeu complet même quand je l'ai déjà dans le Game Pass, juste pour soutenir ceux qui le créent. J'avais pris l'édition Premium les yeux fermés. Mais apprendre que ces voix ne reviendront pas, et que ce qui les remplace ressemble à tout sauf à du soin pour les fans… ça, je ne peux pas l'acheter. Ce n'est pas de la colère. C'est de la tristesse, et un peu le sentiment d'être trahi par une saga que j'aime. J'espère me tromper. J'espère qu'ils reviendront en arrière. En attendant, je pose mon arme.

it doesn't look a whole lot different than master chief collection. graphics are better but not by a lot and definitely not what one would expect from a remake

It’s an interesting comparison. One one hand the graphics do look way better, but not 4 generations better

Some parts of the graphics like the water look amazing. Other graphics like the guns and vehicles look like they’re from 2015 and there’s no in between.

The graphics are obviously better, but the art direction is obviously worse in every avenue.
