The fact that the original creator hates this breaks my heart. Kratos grew up and changed with me, and that means a lot to me. I was an edgy, angry teen when the first games came out, and I loved it. Now I’m older, more mature and appreciate how much he has changed while holding onto his core beliefs.

The best advice I've ever heard in response to "I don't deserve ____" is so what. Go for it anyways. Because what's the alternative? Staying as you are, unhappy? And who knows, maybe in the end you'll end up becoming the kind of person you approve of in the effort to be better and reach for your goals.
