I couldn’t agree more. I still refer to my wife as my partner in unfamiliar situations and really think about how I word things when I don’t know my surroundings. I’m not ashamed, I’m scared of judgement and questions and ill treatment 😢

I didn’t sleep the night after watching the final episode - I could not get the imagery and thoughts out of my mind, it took me 2-3 days to be able to process and regulate how I was feeling. Such a powerful series

I’ve been with my trans partner 12 years now. We moved to the NL for safety sake. I’ve held their hand a handful of times. We used to travel across the country(US) and there were states we would pretend we were just friends out of fear. It came to a point where we decided our future mattered more than others comfort. Never stop fighting. Happy Pride.

Its a brilliant show that ive seen so far and really showcases what it feels like in the world now. It is hard but I keep my head high and be visibly queer every day so the young and the closeted people of the world might see me and see its ok to be yourself.

Oh what a beautiful young man you are. I love him more than anything 💕Please don’t be scared or ashamed of who you are as a mother of a trans daughter be loud & proud of who you. LGBT+ community have been here for decades as us all. Education can teach people to view life differently, empathy comes from within. Please live your life loud & proud.
