@halalbrosau: A LOT of you were asking if the new Wendy’s opening in Melbourne is halal. Quick answer: NO! From the start, we’ve only ever visited places that serve no pork, no alcohol AND are 100% halal. This post is exactly why. Yes, we could’ve visited a lot more restaurants, had more collaborations and grown faster, but our goal was never views and followers, it was to bring you all 100% halal finds and support the Muslim community. Slide 2: You can see that no pork or alcohol is important to people outside of the Muslim community as well. Always make sure you ask and confirm before dining or ordering. The pork doesn’t touch the grill, it only goes on top of the patty that requires pork, so there’s not gonna be any piece of anything pork on ur burger

Wendy’s worker here (for dandi) the meat is halal cooked in the oven then put on the grill and they put the bacon on top of the patty for orders that need it so lowk there is still cross contamination but chicken is fried separately so all of the chicken is halal
