I actually lost a lot of weight while studying in the US... because the food was so sweet and made me so sick I could barely eat once a day and had to rely on coffee to survive the day...

Italy has incredible food that doesn’t hurt my stomach and body. All I ate there for 10 days was pasta, pastry, gelato and I lost weight and felt great. I can’t eat any of that in the states.

Agree. I think the ingredients in US are lacking minerals so people tend to eat more of it and put other stuff on it

In Europe we prefer to buy our food fresh everyday. Galons Bulk food that can less for a whole week or month isn't really that fresh.

Guatemalan here and for me, European food is too simple and tasteless. Quality is great but it doesn’t compensate the blandness . I’ve been into Michelin Star Restaurants and all but still prefer food in the new land.

I ate so much living in Germany and was the healthiest weight ever! Better ingredients and better options. Especially in restaurants. I cook at home a LOT but even then, it seems the food just…. Nourishes differently.
