I drove there one time from SA, I was foolish and had no idea about hook turns until Siri gave me those same instructions 😳 I’ve visited probably a dozen times since but now I get a transfer from the airport to my hotel and use public transport, it’s just so much safer to let a Victorian drive me around rather than being the South Australian trying to navigate Victorian roads 😂

No, you’re supposed to wait until the traffic going straight ahead is all cleared, then turn right. But unfortunately this is usually when the traffic lights turn red, so you then need to put the pedal to the metal and turn quickly.
