@girlaboutmelb: This is one of Melbournes most accessible sushi omakases. 🍣 @sachi.melb is a Japanese restaurant located on Queen Street in Melbourne's CBD. After running as a pop up for two years, Sachi finally opened its permanent home in 2025. Reki Reinantha, (formerly Kisume, also owns Common Cuts and Atsu) designed the space to feel like the high end, yet casual sushi counters and izakayas he loved in Tokyo. 🇯🇵 The venue is stunning - all glowing red with a Tokyo at sunset kind of vibe and features a dry aging cabinet of fish on full display as you walk in. The menu offers an a la carte option, a set menu at $78.50pp, or sushi courses at either 11 courses or 15 courses for $78.50pp or $128.50pp respectively. We went with the 15 course. By most affordable I mean, for an omakase anywhere else in Melbourne you will be paying $150-300pp! 😳 ⭐️ Kingfish, pickled cucumber and Japanese lime – that salt on the skin was amazing, was some of the best I've had. ✔️ Calamari, nori jam ✔️ Hapuka Seasonal Shiromi, swordfish, shiitake mushroom, soy sauce ⭐️ Salmon, seared with bichotan ✔️ Chirashi Gunkan, yuzu miso dressing ✔️ Akami Tuna ✔️ Amaebi ✔️ Akaebi ✔️ Aburi Flounders Fin ⭐️ Scallop ✔️ Toro ✔️ Negitoro ⭐️ Unagi ✔️ Fish Bone Broth
 The cocktails were fantastic across the board - the miso cloud especially! Everything felt perfectly balanced. The whole experience was informal and relaxed but still premium, showing technique and innovation behind each dish. It was nicely paced, portions were spot on and I didn't feel the need to order anything additonal! Invite
