i think the meaning of heavily pierced has been completely misconstrued now that we have social media and people who have a solid 50 piercings. in my opinion 10 is alot and 20-30 is heavily pierced range.

Heavily pieced is like 14-20 totally piercing, heavily modified is stretching, unique, etc, most ear piercings are not modified, but stretch it, or get an industrial boom modified.

in my opinion it depends on the context of the conversation. You are heavily pierced because you have a lot of them, but if we're talking about how society perceives you, then people with a lot ear piercings and people with heavy face mods are in diferent sides.
