I believe them. The reason is why did the change position in such a short time. The answer is the Nasdaq will crash basically now and up to 80%. If that happens the capital gain for shares you hold will be locked in on June 30 2027. That makes the 50% discount tiny and the regain after June 30 will be discounted only by inflation. They predict the crash and rushing to change the rule to capture the tax windfall in the recovery.
