Nursery nurse here, you cannot train dryness overnight!! It’s a hormonal thing, some children can be 7/8 by the time they’re dry. The fact she’s partially dry is really good, so well done Ivy x

my 7 year old is still in nappies in the night as he's still not ready , kids will get there it's not somethink that happens over night ivy will get there

All children are completely different!! My first daughter was fully potty trained day&night time at 2 years old, never wet the bed she's 7 now. My second daughter is 3 & fully potty trained but wears a pull up for bed! No shame, they will do it in there own time 🥰

My twins are 6 both also have additional needs and one is in nappies full time and the other is in nappies on a night, it’s hard work but sometimes the understanding doesn’t come straight away and people really need to understand not everyone cal be potty trained straight away at the same time x

My 7 year old wears them as he’s on the Sen regist and he don’t know when he goes to the toilet and has special nappies and I have tried potty training since he was 15 months and still no we’re 🥰 she’s beautiful

People need to educate themselves. Going through the night and staying dry is based around hormone development for children! Some children develop these quicker than others! Don’t feel anything less than a brilliant mum❤️

My son is 5 this month and still in pull ups day and night even in school at home full time he doesn’t recognise when he needs the toilet he’s got bowel problems too it’s no one’s business in this world. I couldn’t imagine even passing judgement at all people are strange x
