The Pyrenees - incredible hiking, dramatic landscapes and some of the most beautiful national parks in Europe 3. Barcelona - located in Catalonia, Barcelona has stunning architecture, an incredible food scene and so many things to keep you busy 4. Mallorca - one of my favourite places in Europe, there’s incredible beaches, brilliant restaurants, and beautiful historic towns 5. The Costa Brava - medieval towns, charming fishing villages and stunning coastline, and only a couple of hours from Barcelona 6. Setenil de las Bodegas - a village literally built into the rock in Andalucia and one of the most unique places in the whole of Spain 7. Penedès - Catalunya’s wine region, right on Barcelona’s doorstep. You can hire e-bikes and cycle in between wineries and it’s one of my favourite day trips from the city, the scenery is stunning 8. Ronda - a dramatic clifftop city in Andalucia with a breathtaking gorge. It’s the perfect destination for an Andalucian roadtrip 9.
