🎬🇬🇭🇳🇬 LilWin Brings Nigerian Movie Stars to Ghana for ‘Journey to Africa’ Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as LilWin, has assembled a star-studded cast of Nigerian actors for his upcoming movie, “Journey to Africa.” The Nigerian stars arrived in Ghana ahead of production, with LilWin personally welcoming some of them at the Accra International Airport on September 30, 2026. The project is expected to bring together prominent Ghanaian and Nigerian actors in a production aimed at reaching audiences beyond Ghana. Speaking at the airport, LilWin described the project as a major achievement in his career and claimed that no other Ghanaian filmmaker has matched the record he has set. “Nobody can break this record unless Despite or Ibrahim Mahama decides to enter the industry. I am the only person who set a record and still broke it,” he said. He also appealed to Ghanaians to support the production, saying projects involving established actors could help revive Ghana’s movie industry. “So let’s support so that we can revamp the movie industry,” LilWin added. LilWin revealed that “Journey to Africa” will premiere in Accra, with the National Theatre being considered as the first venue before the movie moves to cinemas.
