During one of these waves, a Shahed drone flew directly into the altar of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra complex, critically damaging a historic pillar of Christianity and UNESCO World Heritage Site. While many of the holy relics inside were saved, a full damage assessment can’t be done until the intense fires are extinguished.

In Kyiv, it's the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra (which is older than Moscow) and the Dovzhenko Centre, where films such as Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors and Chasing Two Hares are preserved and promoted. In Dnipro, it's the Dnipro House of Organ and Chamber Music.
