Complete bs . Part of doing a alignment is centering the wheel and locking it down . The machine literally has a set of steps you have to go through before proceeding to the measurements . If you don’t the machine will be off resulting in any adjustments to be way off .

Dont need to lock down the steering wheel when using WinToe. One of the best features when doing alignments! Some cars say to use a steering wheel level and it seems like a good idea some times but I'd rather see it mounted on the outside of the wheel.

Don’t bother purchasing this product. I’ve over 35+years experience doing Alignments . This bubble level is worth less. Simply putting it on the steering wheel will not help . If you start trying to adjust Toe your alignment will be way off . For your sake leave the alignment to a certified professional. My Public service announcement for today .
