The show literally shows the Jedi covering it up (assuming Qimir is in fact a Sith) like I don't understand how this is still confusing. Jedi covered up the true backstory to the creation of the clone army. Jedi aren't perfect

clone wars tv wouldve been canceled after season 1 if it was released today. acolyte wasnt given the chance to mature like shows were able to prior to the streaming and social media boom.

I always assumed it was the Jedis arrogance that meant they missed all the signs of them returning. that's what I got from the acolyte. I really think if theyd gotten a season 2 it would of shown the jedi knowingly doing grey/dark side things all under the guise of the greater good in protecting the Jedi order over anything else

the idea that there could be NO dark side users for 1,000 years is genuinely crazy. I haven't finished the Acolyte yet, but its likely they aren't full on Sith, just users of the dark side. the dark side in a sense is inevitable, there will always be people who weaponize their emotions and will. but the Sith are a cult, a galaxy wide terrorist organization with set rules. this is why I'm begging for Star wars to branch out more, too many people think the Jedi and Sith represent the Force in its totality but they dont

the people that use the 1000 years statement as proof just want to be mad. at the time of PM there are cannon confirmed at least 4 with, plaguies, sidious, maul, and tyranus. the 1000 year statement is incorrect the very moment it is made.

they literally do what the can to cover it up?? like Ki-Adi assumes qimir is a fallen jedi then the council pins the blame on Sol. Like those things aren't implied, they're mentioned EXPLICITLY!

I wish they continued the story of Darth Zannah and Darth Cognus (the Huntress). It’s such a long period of time that they could told so many stories and laid a better platform for The Acolyte. The Mid Era and Pre-Skywalker era just has so many gaps that they could have filled us in on while leaving the Jedi in the dark.

At the end of the phantom menace, during qui-gon's funeral, mace and Yoda are talking and Yoda says "Always two there are....no more...no less. A master and an apprentice." How would he know about the rule of two? If its purpose is to go into hiding, and they have been hiding for 1000 years, he shouldn't know about it, should he? I have not read any of the books so the answer might be there
