So y’all disappointed her because she doesn’t capture Emre and Freja and because her tracker?? Her skill expression comes from consistently landing trackers, using Dorothy for off-angles, managing positioning, choosing the right targets, and knowing when to engage or disengage. The tracker is just the setup, the real difference between good and bad Sierra players is what they do afterward. By the same logic, many heroes would be considered low skill since most have mechanics that simplify some aspect of gameplay. People just tend to focus on Sierra’s tracker and ignore the rest of her kit. A lot of the frustration with Sierra comes from the fact that she punishes bad positioning. Getting tracked and picked off isn’t always a balance issue; often it’s exactly what a recon DPS is designed to do. Not every hero needs complex combos to have depth. Sierra rewards awareness, positioning, target selection, and pressure from unexpected angles. Personally, I rarely die to her when I position well, stay near teammates, or pressure her first. She’s balanced, and many complaints come down to positioning mistakes.
