On the Day of Ashura, when the time came to defend the truth, Ali Akbar (A.S.) asked his father for permission to enter the battlefield. After enduring intense thirst and fierce battle, he was seriously wounded. He called out to his father, and Imam Hussain (A.S.) rushed to him with a heart full of grief. Holding his beloved son in his arms, Imam Hussain (A.S.) witnessed one of the greatest sorrows of Karbala.
