@bellethelawyer: 🚨A discrimination complaint doesn’t have to succeed for an employee to be protected by the Equality Act. This case is a reminder that employers can successfully defend a discrimination claim and still face liability if they retaliate against someone for raising it. #EmploymentLaw #EmploymentTribunal #lawyersoftiktok #UKLaw #LegalNews
a former colleague raised a grievance against the manager and was dismissed, unbelievable

How can they prove that the employer discriminated against the employee for raising the concern though. Surely the criteria is the same for both the accusation topic and the accusation itself

I’ve been let go but I have ADHD although it’s not been diagnosed. If I get it diagnosed do I have a leg to stand on with my employer or was I supposed to tell them on day 1 of when I started there?

Hey, could you make a short video explaining the change in the Employment Rights Act coming in to effect on Jan 1st 2027? I'm particular the qualifying period for unfair dismissal.

I’m glad she won! I’m going through everything you can imagine with my respondent even tried doing a strike out & claim I should pay 1,000 for each alleged breaches lol they have two other people taking them to court aswell lol despite judge seeing my claims are strong enough for 7 day trial self representing by the way 🤣 don’t let these people put fear into you! Justice will always be served if you don’t give up ❤️❤️❤️good luck to everyone

This is what I'm currently experiencing to a degree. Raised complaints about bullying/health and safety/staff wellbeing and was fired for it because I was warned not to 'breach confidentiality'. Staff were threatening to strike! I couldn't sit back and let my poor staff suffer
