They were eliminated in the round of 16 twice in a row in 2022 and 2023, then they got rid of Messi. They reached the semi-finals in 2024 and won it in 2025 and 2026. This is an example of a system problem unlike Juventus, whose last Champions League round of 16 appearance was with Ronaldo, and Ronaldo leaved the club in 2021
