The season isn't mid but it's RUSHED and I feel like it's intentional. Lestat doesn't want to remember his trauma like Louis does, he wants to stuff it down and ignore it. I think that's why we brushed past the whole Gabrielle thing. Lestat might even be ashamed of it, which was somewhat hinted in some of the dialogue. I HOPE they revisit some of the topics, and I think they might when Magnus and Nicolas are talked about.
