If you have fibromyalgia and you’re also dealing with things like flushing, itching, rashes, reactions to foods, medications, heat, alcohol, smells, dizziness, stomach issues, anxiety-like symptoms, or feeling like your body overreacts to everything… It might be worth looking into MCAS. My rheumatologist suspects MCAS and the improvement I’ve had from antihistamines has been eye-opening. Sometimes what we’ve been told is “just fibromyalgia” turns out to be something else as well.
