The apparent decision not to proceed has raised questions about what may have changed, with authorities yet to provide a full explanation for the development. The situation unfolded at the Brooklyn Police Station in Pretoria, where Crime Intelligence Head General Dumisani Khumalo reported after being instructed to do so.
